History: Cream ales are traditionally known as lawnmower beers. Historically, they came out of a brewing tradition in the United States that used local ingredients to produce tasty, flavorful beers. Using an American Ale yeast at cooler than normal temperatures, you end up with a tasty and, "creamy," beer that bears no relation to cream soda. Crack one open on a hot summer day and enjoy a couple!
