Kettle Upgrades...

Well, Dave and I got the pot back from the welder today.  Welds look good overall, and we got most everything attached without difficulty.

The catch?  The welder did the welds from the inside (thinking to do us a favor) and didn't poke the couplers all the way through.  So... now the bead keeps the kettle uptake and whirlpool connections from screwing into the coupler from the inside.  Bah...

Looks like a dremel session is needed...

Otherwise, kettle looks great.  Also got our burner stand trimmed down so the pot fits correctly.  Previously it had these prongs that stuck up to hold the pot on.  With the bigger kettle, these made for a nowhere near ideal fit.

Now, if the hopback would just get here....
